What an adventure we had a few weeks ago renting a Harley Davidson from EagleRider Orlando. We toured through parts of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. We had some memorable moments for sure, as well as some terrifying moments that I’d like to forget 🙂 But, it was worth it to hang out with my husband for a few weeks! I’m going to post some pictures of each place we stayed over night in the next few weeks and tell you which ones I loved and would definitely want to spend more time exploring.
Since being back home Keith has been working nonstop. His work schedule makes no sense to me! Unlike my shift work, his entails working seven days straight if they are on any other shift than days. Because we were away and the schedule had to accommodate him being away; he had to come back to twenty-two afternoon shifts in row! Tomorrow is the first day we both are off work together, so, we’ve decided to go explore in Vancouver. Initially we were going to take his Harley and head to Washington state and visit Port Townsend overnight. But, the weather isn’t being agreeable 🙁 That’s what I really wanted to do! I’ve been on his Harley only once this summer and it was for a fifteen minute ride to a pub and back! We’re usually on his bike all summer!
I’m really looking forward to tomorrow. I love little get aways! So, tomorrow we’ll explore, have dinner somewhere new, and hopefully find some live music. Since it’ll be Monday night… I’m not sure how successful we will be, but, I’m sure we’ll find something! I haven’t explored Vancouver in a long time, so, it should be fun. We’re going to stay in the Gastown area, so, there’s usually something going on in the evenings.
It’s hard to believe the summer is just about over! I think because of my work, Keith’s work schedule, and then us going away for a few weeks in July, I didn’t really get to hang out in my yard, as much as I usually do. I kind of miss that. But, still I’m always up for going away and checking out new places too. So, I guess it was just a different type of summer this year. I really appreciate the help we received from EagleRider when we were planning our trip and when we had some misadventures. They made sure we were looked after. Thank goodness!!
How has your summer been? Did the summer feel a tad bit short for you as it did for me (just checking… might just be my age)?
Have a great week!!
